Being Topless is so freeing! So take your top off mama!
The top of your cup that is! It's time to take the lid off.
Here's why!
Having an open mind is so important to the success of the life God has for us! When we limit our mind and close it off we say that we know best, that there is nothing new that God has for us.

So let's take a moment and lay down some limiting religious paradigms...
1st, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today, and forever.(Heb. 13:8)
2nd, There is nothing new under the sun. (Ecl. 1:9)
These statements are Biblical truths.
But just as Satan twisted scripture to Jesus in the desert, he has used these truths to form a limiting belief of close-minded religion in the hearts of so many believers.
Who are we to think that we know all things?
That any change is "not from God because God is great just as He is. Therefore any changes to religious operations, understandings, and mindsets cannot be from Him."
Are you a visual person like me?! I love reading books and painting the stories in my mind! Wanna know a little fun fact?
My favorite scripture moments to see in my mind is when Jesus curses the fig tree!
I want to share a couple minds eye visuals with you!
Imagine ALL that God is as the ocean. All of that that is the same yesterday, today, and forever.... it is all of the ocean.
And you, your FULL understanding, all that you can possibly know is a cup.
You've heard the quote "you can't pour from an empty cup." The point of this is to keep your cup full.
But what if instead of filling an empty cup, we held our cup under the water?
Depending on how old you are, you may or may not have ever washed dishes by hand. So if you haven't imagine it. *haha* You're holding your cup under the water that never stops running. An ocean of water.
When the cup is full, if it's still under the water what happens?
That old water is displaced. There is always more and new water running into and then out of the cup.
However, if you put a lid on that cup then the first bit of water is all that will ever get into your cup. All the rest of the ocean stays outside of that cup. Eventually, the water gets yucky...
Are you following? Let's check out some scripture!
Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve (know) what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Transformed: past tense
Renewing: present tense, continual
Know: Present tense, to have
Romans 1:17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed--a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."
Revealed: past tense
By Faith: noun, the source of revelation *Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not yet seen. (Heb. 11:1) Faith is trust, believe, know, have..
There is a cycle here. Revelation to Faith. Faith to Revelation.
Just like when you put a lid on your cup, when you close your mind you stop the cycle of faith and revelation, the flowing of new to replace old.
But, energy cannot be created or destroyed. It can only be changed from one to another. So you can never actual STOP the cycle, you can only change it.
What would be the "other" or the opposite of revelation and faith cycle?
A quick google search shows the antonyms of revelation as cloudiness, hiding, concealment, quiet, covering up, mystery.
And the antonyms of faith as doubt, unbelief, distrust, false, inconsistent, disloyal, and treacherous.
So I have been commissioned to ask you,
What life do you want to live?
"This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live." Deuteronomy 30:19
At Empowered Motherhood we believe that you can create the days that you want to live, regardless of your circumstance!
Open mindedness is a key characteristic to develop.
Did you take your top off? 🤔 Tuesday’s blog post was all about why we need to be open minded, today I want to share with you a little bit about how we live open! You see it’s more than in our brain. 🧠 God recently blew my mind 🤯 with a word study from The Bible Project. When the Bible says words like “mind”, “soul”, and “heart”, they were originally the Hebrew word “lev”. 🤯👏🏻👏🏻 You see they didn’t know about a brain to talk about it. 🤔 Lev was the physical heart. ♥️ Lev was where you thought and made sense of the world. 🧠 Lev was where you felt emotions. 🥰 Lev was where you made choices motivated by your desires. 💪🏻 Having an open…
