So, I have a question for you....
What are you thinking?
No, literally, what are you thinking? What are the thoughts going on in your mind?
If you don't know what they are that is your very first place to stop and consider. Start paying attention to what you say to yourself.
Thoughts are powerful!
Negative thoughts are sneaky.
Pro Tip:
Write your thoughts down. At nap time, or when you go hide in your bathroom *haha*, set a timer for 5 minutes. Sit still, close your eyes, and let your mind go.
As your mind moves freely, pay attention to what it's saying. Jot it down, or open the video part on your phone and just record your voice repeating what you were thinking.
Did you find troublesome thoughts? How many thoughts were positive?
What do you do with those thoughts?
Now that you've had the time and created the space to get alone with your thoughts, what do you do with them?
I didn’t always know what to do with the thoughts that I had started becoming aware of. I didn't know that I could strengthen them or deplete them. And I definitely didn't know that there were tools out there that would help me do this on a deeper level!
2 Corinthians 10: 5 says, "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."
So the first thing you're going to do is a two-fold process.
Take captive the negative, untrue thoughts.
Make them obedient to Christ, the truth.
Don't get overwhelmed! The first step is simple.
Step 1. Start capturing those thoughts.
This is simple, but not easy. You're learning already to pay attention to your thoughts. Now you need to capture them.
Pro Tip:
Send yourself a text, make a note in your phone, jot it down in a small journal you keep with you. Create a space for you to be able to capture them.
Step 2. Make them obedient to Christ.
This is the part that takes a bit more time. But God has given you all the time you need!
Use scripture to create thoughts that replace the ones you're capturing. Your job is to make those thoughts obedient to Christ. That happens by the renewal of your mind. (Romans 12:2)
Pro Tip:

Okay you're all set to start taking those thoughts captive and making them obedient to Christ!
I feel you, I know that this is not an easy task, but it is simple. I have felt the same way you're feeling right now. But I have found an awesome little cheat sheet tool that has helped soooo much!!
Do you want to know my cheat sheet tool?!
I am so thankful that I learned there were tools out there that would help me take captive my thoughts on a deeper level!
Did you know that our thoughts direct our emotions and our emotions influence our actions? And of course you know that our actions all summed up is our life!
So being able to really take captive these thoughts and renew our minds is epically important!
I have to tell you, when I began using these tools I would feel exponentially stronger in much less time! I felt like I really could make the change. I found that It was possible! And possible for me!
And the many times that mom life got to me and I "fell off the wagon" for a week or so, I could get back up within just a couple of days!
Girl, you can have these "cheat sheet" tools too.
I call them "cheat sheet" tools, because you still have to do the work of setting up your cheat sheet, but when it's test time you're so thankful that you have it!
My cheat sheet is my Personal Aromatherapy Method (PAM)!
You are going to want to set yours up too!!

Here's what other moms are saying!
"The last week, I haven't thrown up from anxiety. I know when it is starting, and I go get my roll on. I get to a quiet place by myself (sometimes the laundry room for just a quick 20 seconds) roll it on behind my ears, and on my wrists and I keep telling myself it will be ok and I got this, until the nausea goes away. Then I build myself back up. I was really skeptical, because I sometimes wonder if it could be a placebo. But honestly, I don't care. I like it, and now, when I smell it, I think positive and building thoughts."
- Rebecca
"Life is exhausting when a child will not sleep. She might sleep 30 min or so but nothing consecutive. I reached out to Brenna asking ideas. Two nights in a row she has slept at least 6 hours consecutively! Praise Jesus! There is hope out there momma for some REST!"
- Jessica
"Brenna’s taught me so much about correcting my thought patterns. I’m so thankful for her encouragement and perspective. I get stuck in what I could do better and cut down my accomplishments. I’m still working on it but I’m getting there."
- Emalie
"Ya’ll I am Daycare worker so I need all the help I can get!! I have felt so relaxed! I know my children enjoyed my more laid back approach with them! Brenna has helped me along the way. She has answered questions swiftly. She puts her whole heart into this! Its not about the sale for her. It’s about helping you be a better you and giving you something safe you can use for your family."
