3 Signs You Have Low Self Worth

Hey sister friend! How has it been this last week, have you started doing your Mom’s Month PAM? I’m so curious and would love to hear from you! Comment here on the blog, or post on any of the social media that we’re connected on.


This week we are taking a step into something that we briefly touched on last week. Your self-worth. This is how you value yourself and therefore how you see others value you.


I have created for you a little journaling prompt worksheet so that you can you can assess where you are in your self-worth. Awaken to the fact that where you are and what may be normal for you in this is not what is purposed for you. Finally, gain a deeper awareness of what you believe in your core. It is from the beliefs that you hold that you position yourself in life and make all your choices from.

  1. You haven’t been doing your PAM

  2. You feel guilty for trying to invest 20 minutes into yourself or the money for the skin care and aromatherapy products.

  3. You squirm and have a hard time declaring confidently the affirmations in the PAM

Did any of those hit home with you?


Here are a few questions to ask yourself…

  1. What are the top 3 things I say to myself?

  2. When I feel joy or peace, does it come from outside of me?

  3. How would I describe myself?

How did that feel? Taking a moment to have some reflection is very very important. It allows you to see where you are in your self worth journey.


Your Creator Has Spoken About You

The next question I have for you is what does your Creator and most intimate lover say about you? I gave you a very short list last week about some of the things He says about you. What I want you to do is to find 3 to 5 things that He says about you and right them.


Do You Believe It

Now that you’ve done that, how do you feel? How much do you actually believe those things? Be completely honest with yourself, and give yourself a moment to go there. Let it sink in, how much do you really believe those things about you deep down…


This is where you get to let awareness set in a bit deeper.


It’s like when you’re cooking something and it needs to simmer. This part is done at a lower heat and sits for a bit longer. The time spent here at this level is what intensifies and creates a deeper, more rich experience.

What To Do Now

This week your job is to become more aware of what you actually believe. Don’t skip those first two steps, assessing where you currently are and awakening to what your purposed position is. The time investment will come from this awareness phase. How much do you actually believe in that purposed position that’s been created in and for you long before you were born?


Use the scriptures you found while you do your Mom's Month PAM. Either add them into the other affirmations or use them in place of them. Speaking affirmations helps you to believe that something is true even if you don’t currently believe it to be true.


Continue this growth. This experience is a journey. There are no short cuts. It is simply one empowered choice at a time. The Empowered Motherhood Community is here for you!
